Preview: AZ Alkmaar v Arsenal

Theo Walcott will miss Arsenal's Sky Live Champions League clash with AZ Alkmaar on Tuesday night after being ruled out for up to four weeks.

The England forward suffered knee ligament damage in a Liam Ridgewell tackle early on in the Gunners' 3-1 defeat of Birmingham at the weekend.

Tomas Rosicky is another absentee, joining an injury list already numbering Eduardo, Nicklas Bendtner and four longer-term casualties.

But Gael Clichy is fit to return at left-back having sat out Saturday's game with a bruised leg suffered while on international duty last week.

Alkmaar coach Ronald Koeman has a full-strength squad to choose from and Sweden midfielder Rasmus Elm is likely to start and Mounir El Hamdaoui of Morocco up front.

Jeremain Lens is pushing for a recall alongside El Hamdaoui, a scorer in the weekend defeat at Steve McClaren's FC Twente, for an out-of-form AZ who are winless in the last eight games in all competitions.
