Preview: Hamburg v Celtic

Celtic travel to Hamburg for Thursday's make-or-break Europa League Group C clash without injured midfielders Shaun Maloney and Scott Brown.

Maloney is suffering from tendonitis, while Brown has a ankle problem, ahead of a tie the Hoops must win to keep their qualification hopes alive.

Zheng Zhi is not eligible to play because he was signed after the registration deadline for the group phase, but fit-again striker Marc-Antoine Fortune is pushing for a start.

Skipper Stephen McManus should slot back into defence after a ban, while Lukasz Zaluska continues in goal.

Hamburg won 1-0 at Parkhead a fortnight ago but a long injury list has hampered their plans for the return fixture.

Strike duo Paolo Guerrero and Mladen Petric are sidelined but boss Bruno Labbadia will give a fitness test to defender Jerome Boateng, who was injured against Moenchengladbach.
