Proctor comes in for Storm

New Zealander Tohu Harris will make his debut for Melbourne Storm in Friday's World Club Challenge against Leeds.

Harris, a Junior Kiwi who was recruited by the Storm from Wellington three years ago, takes the place of injured second rower Kevin Proctor.

Harris, who turned 21 last month, is a graduate of the club's Under-20s programme and signed a contract extension midway through the 2012 season.

Former New Zealand Test centre Junior Sau, one of three close-season signings, and teenage half-back Ben Hampton were the players left out by coach Craig Bellamy when he trimmed his squad to 19 on Wednesday.

It comprises 11 members of the side that beat Canterbury Bulldogs 14-4 in September's Grand Final, including England international Gareth Widdop and former Wigan forward Ryan Hoffman, who will be appearing in his fourth World Club Challenge.

Another ex-Wgan player, stand-off Brett Finch, is expected to be on the bench as he starts his second spell with the club.

Finch, Hoffman, Jesse Bromwich, Ryan Hinchcliffe, Billy Slater and captain Cameron Smith are the only survivors from the Melbourne team that beat Leeds 18-10 at Elland Road three years ago, compared with 10 from the Rhinos.
