Justin Rose and Jose Maria Olazabal are amongst the big names confirmed for this month's Qatar Masters.
Fellow Ryder Cup heroes Paul Lawrie, Sergio Garcia and Martin Kaymer will also be competing at the $2.5m event along with America's world No 9 Jason Dufner.
Olazabal, 46, captained Europe to a memorable comeback victory over the United States in the biennial Ryder Cup in September but won his last individual title back in 2005.
"Jose Maria Olazabal is a golfing great... he is assured of an especially warm reception at Doha Golf Club," Qatar Golf Association president Hassan Al Nuaimi said.
The event, which takes place between 23-26 January, is part of the European Tour's Middle East leg which includes next week's Abu Dhabi Championship - which features world No 1 Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods - and the January 31-February 3 Dubai Desert Classic.
