QPR v Sunderland preview

QPR will wait until the last minute before deciding if goalkeeper Julio Cesar and striker Bobby Zamora will be fit for the home clash with Sunderland on Saturday.

Cesar was forced off 16 minutes from the end of the victory over Southampton after suffering a dead leg, with deputy Rob Green making a stunning save after joining the fray from the bench.

Zamora missed the St Mary's trip due to an ankle injury, although replacement Jay Bothroyd proved his worth with a crucial strike against the Saints.

Sunderland will hope to have defender Danny Rose back in action when they make the trip to Loftus Road.

Rose aggravated a hamstring injury in the defeat against Arsenal and was subsequently forced to miss the loss at West Brom and last weekend's home draw with Fulham.

Defender Wes Brown may not feature again this season due to the pre-season knee injury he sustained, while captain Lee Cattermole is another long-term absentee.
