Radwanska books Istanbul spot
Agnieszka Radwanska has added her name to the field for the season-ending WTA Championships.
The Pole, who made the final at Wimbledon earlier this year, is the fourth player to qualify for the elite event which will feature the top eight WTA players of the season.
She joins current world number one Victoria Azarenka, French Open champion Maria Sharapova and Wimbledon and US Open winner Serena Williams in the field for the Istanbul tournament.
"I am looking forward to returning to the WTA Championships this year," Radwanska said. "This is a goal for every player at the start of the season and I'm so happy to have made it. The WTA Championships is the biggest WTA event of the year and I look forward to playing against the best in the world."
Radwanska became the first Polish woman since 1939 to reach a Grand Slam final with her Wimbledon run.
She has won three WTA titles this season - in Dubai, Miami and Brussels.
The event will take place from October 23-28.
