Raiders edge out Giants

Plymouth Raiders edged out Manchester Giants 86-83 in a closely-fought match in the British Basketball League.

The Giants led after the first period but it was the Raiders who were ahead thereafter but only by a maximum of four points.

They held a three-point lead at the end of the third which they maintained to claim victory, Michael Ojo top-scoring with 23 to lead all scorers.
