Rain finally relents at Queen's

Play will begin at the AEGON Championships at 12.45pm after rain finally cleared at Queen's Club.

No play was possible on Monday due to a heavy downpour and rain once again hit west London on Tuesday morning, delaying the start from the scheduled time of 11.00am.

Dark clouds remained over the west London venue but the rain relented and organisers announced after a review that play would go ahead.

British duo Jamie Baker and Oliver Golding will face each other in the first match on court two, with the winner progressing to take on last year's beaten finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Andy Murray will begin his tournament on Wednesday against either Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Nicolas Mahut, who are first up on court one today.

Britain's two other representatives in the singles draw are James Ward and Liam Broady, who are due to play Kevin Anderson and Gilles Muller respectively today.

Jamie Murray is last on centre court in his doubles match with partner Marcos Baghdatis against Italy's Simone Bolelli and Muller.

One other eye-catching match of the day is four-time champion Lleyton Hewitt's clash with Croatia's big-serving Ivo Karlovic, which is due to start after the Ward-Anderson match.
