Rain dominates at Tunbridge Wells

Kent's clash with Worcestershire at Tunbridge Wells looks destined for a draw after only three overs were possible on day three due to rain.

Only 14.1 overs were possible on Monday in the Division Two clash and play on Tuesday did not start until 3.45pm and during the play possible, second-placed Worcestershire moved their total from 48 without loss to 67 for no fall.

Pears captain Daryl Mitchell (33 not out) hit the first two balls of the day off Robbie Joseph to the boundary to bring up 700 championship runs for the season in just his ninth innings. At the other end Matt Pardoe moved his score onto 30 with a pair of fours of his own.
