Rajasthan batter Bangalore
Bangalore Royal Challengers were bowled out for just 70 as Rajasthan Royals recording a resounding seven-wicket victory in Abu Dhabi.
Boasting the most expensive batting line-up in this year's IPL, Bangalore were skittled in just 90 deliveries as 42-year-old leg-spinner Pravin Tambe rolled back the years with figures of 4-20.
Only Bangalore captain Virat Kohli (21) passed 20 with fellow international stars Yuvraj Singh (3), AB de Villers (0) and Albie Morkel (7) all failing to reach double figures.
Australian pace bowler Kane Richardson (2-18) accounted for Yuvraj and De Villiers in successive balls to give Rajasthan a dream start and from there on Bangalore simply failed to recover.
The run-chase was never likely to pose any problems for Rajasthan, who knocked it off with seven overs to spare to boost their net run-rate in the competition.
Captain Shane Watson finished unbeaten on 24 and his side now are now level with Bangalore in the standings having won two and lost two of their opening four matches.
