Randolph inspires Grizzlies

Zach Randolph had 23 points and 10 rebounds as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Portland Trail Blazers 98-81 for their third straight victory.

Randolph's effort was his 27th double-double of the season for the Grizzlies, while he received support from Marc Gasol who contributed 15 points and eight boards.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Blazers with 27 points and 16 rebounds in a losing cause.

Dwight Howard scored 23 points to lift the Houston Rockets to a 97-90 win in a seesaw game with the San Antonio Spurs.

Boris Diaw paced the Spurs with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Anthony Davis scored 30 points in the New Orleans Pelicans' 100-89 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Carmelo Anthony's 24 points helped the New York Knicks see off the Boston Celtics 114-88.

Elsewhere the Detroit Pistons overcame the Orlando Magic 103-87, the Washington Wizards were 88-85 winners over the Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers beat the Los Angeles Lakers 104-92.
