Rangers v Ayr United preview

David Templeton and Dean Shiels will both be available for selection for Rangers' League One game against Ayr United at Ibrox on Saturday.

Templeton suffered a muscle strain in midweek but has been passed fit for this weekend's game.

Shiels, who played the final 15 minutes of the 6-1 win against Forfar, was sent off for dissent during an Under-20s league match against Kilmarnock on Wednesday - but is free to play for the first team on Saturday.

United, who have not won in Govan since 1959, have former Ibrox icon Kevin Kyle in their ranks and will have the backing of 950 supporters on Saturday.

Martyn Campbell, out since mid-October with a broken foot, will not be involved here but could be back in competitive action over the festive period.
