Fernando Torres has not received enough support at Chelsea, according to Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
The Chelsea striker will face his former side in Saturday's FA Cup final, including fellow Spain international Reina.
Under Roberto Di Matteo, Torres is finally finding form arguably for the first time since his £50million move from Anfield.
Reina was quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "I don't think Chelsea, as a club, delivered for him - the pressure was there, but I don't think it was only down to Fernando.
"The difference between Fernando and myself is I have had the confidence of the people at my club all the time.
"I don't think that has been the case for him at Chelsea. It is much easier to get over mistakes when you know you have the confidence of your manager and your team-mates.
"With [former manager] Andre Villas-Boas especially, I don't think Fernando felt that."

Torres had the backing of the club and supporters when he came to Chelsea.. Put simply he just didn't and couldn't deliver the goods.. Drogba would be first choice on most managers team sheet but unlike reina says that numpty AVB kept picking torres and thats why we're languishing in 6th place... He couldn't score and prolific scorer Drogba had to sit and watch. I think if they play together more often torres will score more goals.. Just look at Drogba's goal assist record for the last few years as well as some of the fantastic goals he's scored that Torres can only dream about.
