Robbo: Ball in Gleeson's court

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson insists the ball is in Stephen Gleeson's court as to whether he wants to sign a new deal with the club.

Gleeson is one of several players, along with Alan Smith, Izale McLeod, Lee Hodson and Ben Reeves, who are set to see their contracts expire this summer.

The former Wolves academy product is likely to attract interest from other clubs but Robinson would like to keep the midfielder at stadium:mk.

"It's down to Stephen to decide what he wants to do. I'm not going to push him or force him. He knows what we think of him. We will see," said Robinson following the final game of the season against Leyton Orient on Saturday.

"They are questions we will have to answer in coming weeks, but we've got some great players in there in Darren Potter and Dele Alli."

Gleeson joined the Dons from Wolves in the summer of 2009 following a loan spell in Milton Keynes.
