Robins to be patient with duo

Swindon boss Mark Cooper says he will not rush back long-term injury absentees Troy Archibald-Henville and Tijane Reis.

The pair have resumed full training after spells on the sidelines but Cooper says he will give them as long as they need to get back to full fitness.

"They need more than 45 minutes," he told the Swindon Advertiser. "They need just three or four games because they've been out for a fair old while.

"The last thing we want to do is put them in to play part of a game and they go and do well and we get excited, throw them straight into the first team when they're not ready and they're out for three more months.

"We're not going to take any risks with them because they have been out so long and it's about their careers. We've got a duty of care to think about."
