Robinson extends Blues stays

Paul Robinson has extended his stay with Birmingham by a further month.

The left-back, 33, was due to see his initial month-long contract expire on Friday but manager Lee Clark has moved to tie him down at St Andrew's until the end of November at least.

Blues moved for Robinson on a short-term deal last month to ease their injury problems, with the free agent having impressed during a trial spell.

And the former Bolton and West Brom man has been a solid performer during his short stint with the club to date, making four league starts against Brighton, Cardiff, Huddersfield and Millwall.

Clark has previously stated he would like to tie up Robinson on a long-term deal.
