Robson hails Millers showing

Mark Robson described Barnet's performance against Rotherham as the best he has seen from his side so far this campaign.

The Bees are still without a win in the league this season following the goalless draw at Underhill Stadium, but Robson saw some encouraging signs against the Millers.

"Performance-wise it was arguably the best of the season. I thought we were in control of the game," said Robson. "In the first half I thought we were particularly excellent and perhaps deserved to go in at half-time in front but it wasn't to be.

"But I thought in general there were a lot more runs in behind, more shots at goal and a lot more movement and I have to say I was really proud of the performance.

"We just needed to try and relax a bit more. I said to the boys that we've got to work harder to get ourselves out of the position that we're in.

"And all credit to them because they've grafted this week and they've got their rewards. They've got a point on the board but more importantly they've gained lots of confidence in terms of the way they played."
