Robson to make cup singles bow

Laura Robson will make her Fed Cup singles debut against Sweden on Sunday.

The 18-year-old will replace British number one Elena Baltacha in Sunday's first match against Swedish number one Sofia Arvidsson. Baltacha is not considered fully match-fit following an ankle injury, the Lawn Tennis Association have confirmed.

Robson could also still feature alongside Heather Watson in the doubles later today, with the Great Britain team trailing 2-0 after the first day's action in their World Group II play-off.
