Rosenior knock not too bad

Hull City boss Steve Bruce claims an injury picked up by defender Liam Rosenior is not 'too serious'.

The Tigers full-back was forced off at half-time during Saturday's 2-0 victory over Sunderland.

It was feared that he could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Bruce has now revealed that Rosenior could be back in his plans in 'a couple of weeks' - after he has been granted a well-earned period of rest.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "We don't think it's too serious.

"But it was enough for him to come off so I'd think he'd be extremely doubtful for tomorrow (against Southampton).

"Realistically, I would think he would need a couple of weeks rest to get him back again.

"The obvious replacement, which I did on Saturday, is putting Elmo (Ahmed Elmohamady) there.

"And there's (Paul) McShane too, who can go and play right-back."
