Rovers waiting on Green

Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock is waiting on Blake Green's fitness ahead of Sunday's Challenge Cup tie at home to Catalan Dragons.

Green could make his first appearance since being diagnosed with a blood clot in January and he is joined in the squad by Josh Hodgson, Rhys Lovegrove and Scott Wheeldon, who all missed Monday's 18-10 win at Salford.

"The players were pretty bruised and battered after playing two games in such a short space of time, but they've trained well this week," said Sandercock.

"Hopefully they'll be ready to come up with a decent performance on Sunday. I grew up watching the Challenge Cup finals at Wembley and it's an exciting competition.

"We go into every game confident of getting a result. Catalan have only got the one injury in a squad of 30 players which means that they're able to field their best side at the moment."

The Dragons are without captain Greg Mounis, who broke his hand in Monday's comprehensive 44-16 win over Warrington.

Clint Greenshields and Thomas Bosc are also absent through injury.
