Greg Rutherford has become the latest Hartlepool youngster to pen a professional contract with the League One club.
The 18-year-old midfielder follows in the footsteps of fellow youth-team duo Josh Rowbotham and Nathan Buddle, who signed their first pro deals on Wednesday.
Rutherford made his first-team debut for Pools as a late substitute in April's 2-1 home defeat to Chesterfield.
Rutherford, Rowbotham and Buddle were three of five youth-team players offered professional contracts in April, along with Lewis Hawkins and Darren Holden.
