Sagna: City want all trophies
Bacary Sagna says Manchester City are chasing silverware in all competitions this season, but realises the size of the task.
Sagna, who joined on a free transfer from Arsenal this summer, is yet to make his debut in a City side that have won both of their opening Premier League games.
Manuel Pellegrini's men started their campaign with a 2-0 win at Newcastle before beating last season's nearest title rivals Liverpool 3-1 at home.
City have been drawn alongside 2013 winners Bayern Munich, Roma and CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, a competition they are yet to make their mark in.
Sagna said: "We want to win everything but we know how difficult it will be.
"I can promise the City fans I will work hard and never give less than 100 per cent when I play.
"We are the Premier League champions and we know everyone will want to beat us, but we will be ready."
Pablo Zabaleta is City's first-choice right-back but Sagna believes the competition for places can only be a good thing.
He added: "Your body needs time to recover and if there are two players for every position, it's easier to alternate when needed to keep the team fresh."
