Salford sign Caton-Brown
Salford have signed wing Mason Caton-Brown from London Broncos on a two-and-a-half year deal.
Caton-Brown has impressed for the Broncos this season and previously represented England Students as a 17-year old.
The 21-year-old is the Broncos top try-scorer this season with 11 tries and is also their second top metre maker with 1541m in 11 appearances.
\"We are delighted to sign Mason,\" Salford's head coach Iestyn Harris told the club's website.
\"His signature shows commitment to signing the best young British prospects in the game and putting them alongside players of international stature such as Rangi Chase and Kevin Locke.
\"We continue to build our squad for 2015 and beyond and we are looking forward to Mason being an important part of that.\"
Mason said: \"I've really enjoyed my time at the Broncos. I have made some great friends at the Club and will miss the team and fans.
\"I am however really looking forward to this next chapter in my career and am excited to be joining Salford and being part of their ambitions going forward\"
Broncos head coach Joey Grima admitted: \"Mason will be a great loss to the club, he is our leading try scorer and ideally we would have like to have seen all his potential fulfilled playing for the Broncos. We don't feel that we could stand in his way in securing his future in Super League\"
Locke has been awaiting a visa since his early arrival was confirmed a fortnight ago and club owner Marwan Koukash expects him to arrive in England within 10 days.
