Salford tie up Chase red tape
Salford say they have cleared the red tape to complete the signing of England international Rangi Chase.
The New Zealand-born stand-off's proposed move from Castleford to Hull just over a year ago fell through after the player experienced difficulty in obtaining a new visa.
The newly re-named Red Devils, who unveiled Chase as one of 12 new signings last week, said on Wednesday that the 27-year-olds application to the UK Border Agency has been successful and he will link up with his new club for the start of pre-season training at the end of October.
In a statement the club said: "Salford Red Devils can confirm that New Zealand-born England international Rangi Chase has had his application for a visa approved by the UK Border Agency."
