Samoa name strong tour squad
Samoa have named a strong squad for their Guinness Series clash with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on November 9.
The 30-man party selected by Stephan Betham includes plenty of players with Super Rugby experience and sees a number of players return after missing their summer tour of South Africa.
Wellington Hurricanes star Faifili Levave has committed to the tour along with Alapati Leiua, Jack Lam and Tusi Pisi.
Maurie Faasavalu, Kahn Fotualii, Joe Tekori, George Pisi and captain David Lemi also return after being unavailable for varying reasons over the summer.
Samoa will also play the French Barbarians and Georgia as part of their three-week tour, assembling in London at the end of this month to start their preparations at a three-day training camp.
Betham said: There is no easy game on this tour, with Ireland being the first one and a tier one nation, as well as a member of the Six Nations.
"They have had a lot of games together this year and we have to prepare well and fast for this test, knowing that we will have one week to put the team together before our first kick off."
