Saunders ready for Tranmere test
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders admits it will be a tough task to be the first side to leave Prenton Park with a win ahead the game at Tranmere.
The league leaders have dropped just two points at home so far this season, winning five of their first six matches, but Saunders believes his team are more than capable of claiming the scalp.
"It's going to be a tough game against a really good Tranmere team who are scoring goals," he told the club's official website.
"They got beat at Bournemouth, who were lifted by the new manager arriving, which happens so many times in football so they will be looking to bounce back from that.
"We are a good team and have the ability to win games even when we are not at our best so I think it will be a good game.
"All we can control is how we approach the game, we're not frightened of playing anybody. We're not going to sit back and take a draw, although it wouldn't be a disastrous result."
