Doncaster boss Dean Saunders was unhappy after having a goal disallowed in the 1-1 home draw with Stevenage on Saturday.
Doncaster were trailing when David Syers fired home just before the interval after visiting keeper Chris Day palmed a shot from Kyle Bennett into his path.
Referee Phil Gibbs appeared to signal a goal but then disallowed the effort because the linesman had his flag up.
Saunders said: "I thought it was a scandalous decision. I've seen it again on DVD and David is clearly onside when Kyle has the first shot.
"The referee gave the goal and I don't know why the linesman got involved."
Oliver Risser put Stevenage ahead but Chris Brown snatched a point for Rovers with a cracking shot on the turn in the 79th minute.
