Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle has hinted he would be interested in joining Chelsea.
The FA Cup winners and Champions League finalists have already signed Marko Marin for next season and they have also been linked with another raid on the Bundesliga.
Schurrle claims he has yet to have any contact from Chelsea, who this summer are expected to change their squad and lower the average age, despite rumours of interest for more than a year.
But he could be open to talks, as the £15million-rated 21-year-old German international told Sky in his homeland: "I and my agent have not had any contact so we will just have to wait.
"We will see how interesting it is when it becomes concrete."
Meanwhile, Leverkusen director of sport Rudi Voller says interim coaches Sami Hyypia and Sascha Lewandowski could take charge on a full-time basis after a successful end to the season.
