Schwartzel out in front
Five days after winning by 11 shots in Thailand, Charl Schwartzel was leading the Alfred Dunhill Championship in his native South Africa.
Last year's US Masters champion followed three birdies with an eagle on the 541-yard 18th - his ninth hole - to stand 10 under par midway through his second round at Leopard Creek.
Schwartzel, with a victory and four runner-up finishes in the event, was one in front of overnight leader Gregory Bourdy, who added four birdies to his opening 66 before dropping his first stroke of the week at the 448-yard third.
The pair were clear of the chasing pack. Joint third on six under were England's Richard Finch after five successive birdies from the 11th and home trio Branden Grace, Jaco Van Zyl and Darren Fichardt.
Grace is trying for a remarkable sixth victory of the year.
