Scocco not looking to move
Sunderland striker Nacho Scocco insists he has not even contemplated a possible return to Argentina.
The 28-year-old joined Sunderland in January from Brazilian outfit Internacional for just over £3million.
Scocco, though, has struggled to make an impact on Gus Poyet's first-team, and that has lead to speculation that he could be heading for a quick return to South America.
However, Scocco insists he is not even thinking about leaving the Stadium of Light.
"I have not considered the possibility of returning to Argentina but a return to Argentina is always in my plans, Newell's are my priority there, but let's see," he told Argentine radio show America & Closs.
"I am under contract with Sunderland, when the season is over I'll talk with the board and the staff and see what I'll do.
"I came willing to play, this is why I want to talk with the board but I am a Sunderland player, I have two more years of contract here."
Scocco admits it has been hard not being a first-team regular - as he is yet to start a league match for the club.
"I am not playing often due to manager's decision, this happens in football," he said.
"This is the first time I am fighting against relegation and it is very painful. This is very stressful, but I want to play."
