Scotland wants new Town deal
Jason Scotland is hoping he has done enough to persuade Paul Jewell to extend his deal at Ipswich.
Scotland scored the equaliser with a long-range strike in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, taking his tally to eight for the season.
Having waived a clause in his contract earning him a pay rise for starting 19 games, the 33-year-old striker is hoping his commitment to the Championship club and his performances will earn him a new deal.
"I want to stay. I've been talking to the gaffer and the chairman, so we will have to wait and see," he told the Daily Star.
