Josh Scowen says he is "over the moon" after scoring the decisive goal in Wycombe's 2-1 victory against Torquay on Saturday.
The teenage midfielder was recalled from a loan spell at non-league side Eastbourne by caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth.
Scowen marked his third start for the npower League Two side with a second-half header, and he has praised Ainsworth for the feel-good atmosphere around Adams Park.
He told the Buckinghamshire Advertiser: "I am over the moon and the boys are helping me at the moment. Gaz is really good and he helps get you motivated.
"It was nice to score the winner but the performance was important. It was about the result.
"We are all on a high. Hopefully, we can build on that."
