Scu still keen on Crus

Tom Scudamore retains faith in Grands Crus after they paired up for a racecourse gallop at Exeter on Tuesday.

The eight-year-old grey has so far had an interrupted campaign, and was pulled up in the Argento Chase at Cheltenham in January on his last start.

He still holds two entries at Cheltenham next week, in the Ryanair Chase and Ladbrokes World Hurdle.

Speaking at Fontwell, Scudamore said that the horse's workout had left him feeling upbeat.

"I was very pleased, he was in good order," he said. "He was keen again, which is a good sign. It was a good, solid gallop and I'll leave the plans up to David, but there's still Aintree, Cheltenham and Punchestown.

"I've never lost faith in him. He's a hell of a horse and hopefully we'll get him back."
