Seagulls starlet signs deal

Young Brighton midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has signed a new three-year contract.

The 18-year-old, who is the stepson of former Seagulls frontman Nicky Forster, has committed himself to the Amex Stadium until 2015.

"I'm really happy with the new deal," he told the club's official website.

"It's an up-and-coming club and I signed my first contract at 17 so to get another one so soon is something I am really happy with.

"It's the only club I have played at but every year I have progressed as I've wanted to."

Forster-Caskey made six appearances for the Seagulls last season and scored two goals.
