
Ayr's meeting on Thursday is subject to an 8am inspection on raceday morning.
Officials at the Scottish venue must assess conditions a second time following an initial inspection on Wednesday afternoon.
The going is soft, but overnight temperatures could to drop to minus 3C.
Clerk of the course Emma Marley said: "Temperatures have risen to 6C this afternoon and the course is currently raceable.
"We're going to have another look in the morning as we are forecast further sub-zero temperatures tonight.
"We could get anything between minus 1C and minus 3C.
"It's due to be a cold day tomorrow, with temperatures rising to 4C, but as the course is raceable now, I'm optimistic."
