Selby not resting on laurels

Mark Selby hopes future world titles will prove easier to win than his first after battling past Ronnie O'Sullivan at the Crucible.

The 'Jester from Leicester' came from 10-5 down on Sunday evening to seal a over defending champion O'Sullivan in Sheffield.

The success saw Selby become only the ninth player to win the Triple Crown of UK, World and Masters titles, and the 30-year-old is hungry for more triumphs.

The new world No 1 told Sky Sports: "Obviously it will be difficult to win it again, there's no doubt.

"But people do say 'win it for the first time is more difficult than trying to win it again' so hopefully that is true and I manage to win it in a few years time again.

"What I experienced gives you more and more hunger to try and win more titles."
