Jose Semedo expects the battle between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United for automatic promotion to go down to the wire.
The Blades' defeat to MK Dons and the Owls' last-gasp win over Carlisle cut the gap down to one point, with Danny Wilson's side holding the slightest of advantages.
Defensive midfielder Semedo, who joined from Charlton, expects the race to join his former club in the Championship will go down to the final day.
"I think it will go to the final game of the season to see who will follow Charlton," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"We have to congratulate Sheffield United because they have been brilliant this season and hopefully we will have more big derbies in the next division."
He added: "We just have to do the best we can. During the game we are totally focused on winning, it's only afterwards where we can think of promotion."
