Sextet target Solario wealth

Six runners have been declared for Saturday's European Wealth Solario Stakes at Sandown, a race won last year by Kingman.

Kingman's trainer, John Gosden, was represented at the five-day-stage by the impressive Chesham Stakes winner Richard Pankhurst but connections have opted not to take up the engagement.

The Royal Ascot hero was recently purchased by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum whose colours will be worn in the Group Three by Pallister.

Mark Johnston's colt won a York maiden on his second start before landing the Spindrifter Conditions Stakes at Pontefract but he could finish only fifth in the Group Two Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood last time.

The standard is set by Hugo Palmer's Aktabantay who will wear cheekpieces for the first time.

Ryan Moore, who was aboard for the colt's first two starts, is back in the saddle on the son of Oasis Dream who was last seen finishing second in the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket, finishing two and a quarter lengths in front of the re-opposing Cock Of The North.

Richard Hannon relies on Lexington Times while two promising maiden winners take a steep rise in class.

The Godolphin-owned Future Empire scored at Newmarket in a race which is working out well but Newbury winner Elm Park may not line-up with Andrew Balding having also declared his colt for Salisbury on Friday, a race which is his preferred target.
