Shakers bring in Carson

Bury have completed the signing of Sunderland goalkeeper Trevor Carson on a two-year contract.

The former Northern Ireland Under-21 international made 17 starts for the Shakers across two loan spells this season.

At the end of the latter stint at Gigg Lane, a pre-contract agreement between both parties was agreed and he will officially join the club on July 1.
