Shrews swoop for Gayle on loan

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner has completed the loan capture of defender Cameron Gayle from West Brom until January 5.

The 20-year-old is a graduate of Albion's academy and penned his first professional deal with the club in the summer of 2010, although he is yet to make a first-team appearance.

Turner told the club's official website: "We've seen him play a number of times and I'm sure he will strengthen our squad."
