Shrubsole: England on a roll

England star Anya Shrubsole is confident England can harness their recent momentum as they enter the Super Six phase of the Women's World Cup.

The defending champions will face rivals Australia in their next fixture at Mumbai, which comes after a shock defeat to Sri Lanka and wins over hosts India and West Indies in the group stage.

"We're improving with every match and that's the way you want it to be," Shrubsole told the ECB's official website.

"Now we've won two in a row we've got some good momentum going into the Super Sixes, which hopefully we can carry on through the tournament.

"Any game against Australia is a huge game and they have had a good tournament so far, but we're going into it at the right time.

"We'll look at the game against West Indies, talk about what we did well and what we can improve on, and head into it with confidence."

England know they will have to raise their game again if they are to overhaul Australia, who are the only unbeaten side in the competition.

Shrubsole, who claimed career-best figures of four for 21 against the Windies, said: "England against Australia is always an exciting match and one you want to play in. Hopefully we can register a win early in the Super Sixes."
