Chile international Francisco Silva could make his debut for Osasuna against Barcelona this weekend after joining on loan from Universidad Catolica until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old midfielder was introduced as an Osasuna player on Wednesday after taking his first training sessions with his new team-mates.
"It's my first experience in European football and I have to adapt as quickly as possible, because time is short and I hope to make the most of it," he said on the club's website.
"I have come here eager to do well because I want to make a good impression and be here for more than just these six months."
Although admitting he was a little tired from his journey, Silva insisted he would be ready for Sunday's trip to Barcelona if required.
"I'm fine," he said. "In Chile it was the pre-season but I have played enough in our friendly games. You always look forward to your debut. If it comes I will welcome to it. Otherwise I will wait for the opportunity."
