Blackburn's global advisor Shebby Singh has revealed that the club have been "flooded" with interest in the managerial vacancy at Ewood Park.
Steve Kean stepped down from the Ewood Park hot-seat last week, claiming his job had become 'untenable'.
Singh though, is confident that the club will find the right manager.
Asked about the names linked he told Sky Sports: "Part of it is speculation, part of it is rumour - but at this moment in time we are being flooded.
"We have CVs coming in, it is not as bad as bad as club as people make out - there is a lot of interest."
Tottenham coach and former Blackburn star Tim Sherwood has been strongly linked along with Alan Shearer, whilst Celtic legend Henrik Larsson - currently managing in Sweden - is also reportedly keen on the role.
