Smith bemoans injury luck
Dundee boss Barry Smith praised his side's second-half display during defeat to Aberdeen but was left to rue another injury in defence.
Niall McGinn and a Johnny Hayes free-kick - deflected in off Jim McAlister - sealed a 2-0 victory for the Dons but Brian Easton became the latest player to suffer an injury for the Dark Blues, pulling up with a hamstring injury just three minutes into the match.
Smith said: "The second half was much better. We were pinned back a bit in the first half, but the second we got onto the front foot and managed to put Aberdeen under pressure. We've got to draw confidence from that.
"I don't know what I've done! We work hard with a back four all week, and I don't think I've had the same back four all season.
"To then lose one of my back four after just three minutes, it's an incredible run of bad luck. It's his hamstring he's injured. It certainly doesn't make it any easier."
