Stevenage boss Gary Smith admits Robin Shroot keeps giving him a selection headache with his goals from the bench.
Midfielder Shroot took his tally to six for the season, four of which have come as a substitute, when he came on to score the winner at Notts County on Tuesday night.
"He keeps on scoring," said Smith. "I didn't think Robin was the right choice for the start of the game, it was competitive and there were other qualities needed to get us into the game and to get us through a tough period.
"The guys that started the game were mentally and physically at the game and put a hell of a lot in to the opening hour.
"The game opened up at that point and when you're chasing the game it is nice to have a couple of bodies like Luke (Freeman) and Robin to come into it, and it was very nice to see him on the sheet again."
