Smith targets ODI whitewash
Australia all-rounder Steve Smith is hoping to add to England's misery in Friday's one-day international in Perth.
England are already 3-0 down in the five-match ODI series and are one game away from equalling their record of 10 successive defeats across all formats in 1993 and 2001.
The tourists, who were whitewashed 5-0 in the Test series, will also match their longest losing run against Australia if they are beaten at the WACA.
Smith, who has been recalled to the Australia squad after skipper Michael Clarke and three other players were rested, said: "It's just nice to keep winning.
"We haven't really worried about England at all to be honest. Throughout this whole tour it's just been about us and the way we've played.
"It would be great to end the series 5-0 and that is our goal but we've just got to take each game at a time and try and continue playing good cricket.
"Everyone's in good form. We're in a pretty confident space at the moment playing good cricket.
"Hopefully we can carry on with the way we've played and a few boys can step up and make some big runs."
Smith is set to play his first ODI in over a year and is determined to try and force his way back into the selectors' minds ahead of next year's World Cup.
"It (the World Cup) is obviously still a fair way away but every opportunity you get, you've got to try and impress," he said.
"I haven't played for a while now so hopefully I can come out and make an impact and hopefully win a couple of games for Australia. It's nice to be back.
"Obviously the boys have set a pretty good platform for me, 3-0 up going into this game. Hopefully we can finish the series well and get a clean sweep."
