Snow storms to glory

Snowday claimed Group Three honours for trainer Carlos Laffon-Parias in the Prix du Bois at Chantilly on Sunday afternoon.

The two-year-old was ridden positively by Olivier Peslier and quickened up well in the last of the five furlongs to score decisively.

To My Valentine finished strongly to grab the runner-up spot, with Mick Channon's Bungle Inthejungle faring best of the three British raiders in fifth.

The Richard Hannon-trained Hairy Rocket and Surely Speightful from the Kevin Ryan yard failed to fire.

Ridasiyna made it three wins from as many starts with an impressive display in the Prix Chloe.

The Mikel Delzangles-trained filly was the 5-4 favourite on the strength of victories at Longchamp and Maisons-Laffitte and the result was never in doubt in the hands of Christophe Lemaire.

The only British contender was John Gosden's Gathering, who failed to make a serious impact.
