Southend v Bury preview
Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Southend United and Bury at Roots Hall.
Jakub Sokolik is in line to make his Southend debut when they entertain Bury.
The Liverpool defender signed for the Shrimpers on a youth loan until the end of the season earlier this week and was an unused substitute in Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe.
Sokolik could face competition from Luke Prosser after Blues boss Phil Brown revealed the centre-back is closing in on his return from a calf strain.
Adam Thompson is set to be sidelined for another week with his calf injury, while Julian Bennett is expected to miss the rest of the campaign with cruciate ligament damage.
Bury are likely to be without striker Anton Forrester when they travel to Southend.
The Shakers forward suffered what manager David Flitcroft fears is knee ligament damage following a challenge from Fleetwood's Mark Roberts on Tuesday, which the boss Bury was furious with.
However, Flitcroft has given himself more defensive options with the loan acquisition of Chris Hussey on Thursday and he will come straight into their squad.
Captain Craig Jones remains absent with a hamstring injury which is likely to keep the midfielder out for another 10 days.
