Spencer leaves Huddersfield

Huddersfield have parted company with centre-forward Jimmy Spencer.

Spencer, 22, graduated from the Terriers' academy in the 2009/10 campaign and went on to make two appearances for the first team.

Huddersfield boss Mark Robins told the club's official website: "Jimmy has reached the stage of his career where he wants to play regular first-team football and have continuity, which is not something we can offer him at Huddersfield.

"As a result, this course of action is in the best interests of both parties. He is now a free agent to progress his career.

"We'd like to thank Jimmy for his efforts and wish him the best of luck in the future."
