Spilkova hunting first win

Klara Spilkova will take a one-stroke lead into the final round of the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open in Antalya.

The teenager from the Czech Republic carded a second round 70 to reach the 36-hole mark at seven-under, showing no nerves after having to wait more than 24 hours to follow up her opening 69.

Scotland's Vikki Laing sits in second after a four-under 69 with Melanie Jorgensen dropping to third after managing only a level-par 73 in decent scoring conditions.

The tournament was reduced to 54 holes after Friday's play was washed out, leaving Pliskova 18 holes to get through to try and secure her first professional victory.

"I'm very happy. I played well today like I did in the first round but the front nine was a little bit up and down," said Spilkova, a third year Ladies European Tour player who combines professional tour golf with high school studies.

"The driver was not as good but I holed a few good putts so I will keep going and try my best and enjoy the day."

France's Valentine Derrey sits in fourth, three strokes off the pace, with England's Charley Hull, first round leader Heather Macrae from Scotland and Finland's Krista Bakker all on three-under.
